Although a Siskiyou County native, Bill began his investment career in 1993 with Waddell & Reed in Portland, OR. Two years later he joined American Express Financial Advisors and later Smith Barney. After serving the same firm for 14 years, Bill joined D.A. Davidson & Co. in September 2009 as part of the new Medford branch. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Bill has met rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board and has successfully completed financial planning coursework in multiple areas. Bill is proud to be a member of D.A. Davidson & Co.’s Chairman’s Council, which recognizes top financial advisors for their client-first focus and involves them in the direction and philosophy of the firm.
Bill graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in political science, and completed the CFP Certification Professional Education Program from the College for Financial Planning. Bill has been active in the community, having served as a past member and Chairman of the Chamber of Medford/Jackson County Education Action Team, a past member of the Chamber Legislative Action Team and the SOREDI Marketing Committee. Bill has also been a past board member of the Junior Achievement Advisory Board, the Jackson County Mental Health Court Advisory Board, and the Russell Investments CEO Advisory Board. He is currently a member of the Southern Oregon Estate Planning Council.
When not at work, Bill enjoys skiing and hiking with his family, gardening, cooking, wine and great Irish whiskey. Bill and his wife, Michelle, are now experiencing the empty-nester stage of life with four adult children.
Stacy Douglas

Stacy joined D.A. Davidson in 2016 and immediately put her experience in operations and client service to good use. She previously worked for Jackson County Health and Human Services and Printpal in Medford after starting her career in the travel industry. Building client relationships is her top priority and it shows in the service she provides.
Stacy is a Rogue Valley native and is a graduate of Crater High School. She and her husband have two children and two grandchildren with one more on the way. In her spare time, she works out, reads, listens to music and spends time with her family. She enjoys summer, swimming, rafting and the outdoors.
